We were set up in 1997 and consist of parents of pupils past and present and Staff.
We all have the common goal to raise additional monies for our school children for
EXTRA ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES.
We are fortunate at our school to have a Friends Association that is and has been an integral part of the school's community for many years. In it's time the Friends Association has raised thousands of pounds, which have been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children's educational experience and the school's facilities.
Our Friends Association is about much more than simply fundraising. It exists to provide closer links between home and school, providing an excellent way too bring staff,parents and friends together socially in support of the school.
Our Association committee consists of four officers: Chair; Vice Chair; Secretary and Treasurer. The committee meet on a regular basis usually once or twice a term . Anyone can attend. Our AGM is held in November and provides an opportunity for all parents to come along and hear in more detail about the work of the Friends, the events we run , the funds we have raised and how much has been spent.
